{"id":386,"date":"2007-09-17T12:40:00","date_gmt":"2007-09-17T11:40:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/w\/?p=386"},"modified":"2024-01-23T18:19:25","modified_gmt":"2024-01-23T17:19:25","slug":"reefbreak","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/w\/wellen\/reefbreak\/","title":{"rendered":"Reefbreak"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ein Reefbreak bezeichnet das Brechen der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/w\/wellen\/\">Welle<\/a> \u00fcber einem Fels- oder Korallenriff, d.h. an einem meistens klar definiertem Punkt und mit dauerhafter Regelm\u00e4\u00dfigkeit. Aber auch eine Sandbank oder Untiefe kann einen Reefbreak erzeugen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Entstehung und Auswirkungen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein Riff stellt f\u00fcr den Swell ein pl\u00f6tzliches und un\u00fcberwindbares Hindernis dar. Die Wellen bauen sich schnell und steil auf und brechen h\u00e4ufig sauber, druckvoll und in regelm\u00e4\u00dfig wiederkehrenden Lines, was sie sehr berechenbar machen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Im Gegensatz zu einem Beachbreak, wo die Wellen weniger vorne \u00fcber kippen sondern sich langsam in Wei\u00dfwasser abbauen, brechen die Welle \u00fcber einem Riff in einem Schwung, indem der Wellenkamm den Unterbau &#8222;\u00fcberholt&#8220; und dabei im Idealfall sogar einen Tunnel bildet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rund um so einen Reefbreak k\u00f6nnen ganz gem\u00e4\u00dfigte Bedingungen herrschen, bis hin zu Flachwasser, so dass man entspannt die Brandungszone umsurfen und sich dann gezielt zum Waveriding in die Wellen einreihen kann. Ein Umstand, der an den guten Reefbreaks auch viele Wellenreiter anlockt, die \u00fcbrigens immer (!) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/w\/surfregeln\/vorfahrtsregeln\/\">Vorfahrt<\/a> haben.
