In der Bucht habt Ihr absolutes Flachwasser und Ihr surft auf die Stadt el Tur zu, genauer auf die gro\u00dfe Moschee. Der Strand ist feinsandig und er f\u00e4llt sanft ab, so dass Ihr in Ufern\u00e4he reichlich Platz und stehtiefes Wasser habt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Tur ist die Hauptstadt der Sinai Halbinsel in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/%C3%84gypten\">\u00c4gypten<\/a>\u00a0und liegt an der Westk\u00fcste der Sinai Halbinsel, ziemlich genau auf einer H\u00f6he mit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/Dahab\">Dahab<\/a>\u00a0und s\u00fcdlich von\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/Ras_Sudr\">Ras Sudr<\/a>. Bei m\u00e4chtigem Swell im offenen Meer werden auch hier die Wellen nochmal deutlich h\u00f6her &#8211; \u00fcbrigens schon das eine Seltenheit in \u00c4gypten, denn Wellenspots sind sehr rar. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anf\u00e4nger dagegen finden ganz im Norden der Bucht eine nochmal etwas gesch\u00fctztere Bucht mit sehr gro\u00dfem Stehbereich, wo sich bequem die ersten Schritte zum Windsurfen lernen lassen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aufgrund des Hafens und der industriell genutzten Werften kann es allerdings auch zu Verunreinigungen im Wasser kommen und Teer ist hier ebenfalls keine Seltenheit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Und wer den Shorebreak und die gro\u00dfe Welle sucht, der kann sich per Transfer etwa 2 Kilometer nach Norden bringen lassen und im Wavespot am&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/El_Tur_-_Habibi_Beach\">Habibi Beach<\/a>&nbsp;surfen. Der Wind kommt hier sideonshore von rechts, und die Welle wird etwas umgebogen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-727\" style=\"width: 40px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.spotnetz.de\/w\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/icon-kitesurf.png\" alt=\"Kitesurfen Information\"> Kitesurfen in El Tur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In El Tur ist neben Windsurfen auch Kitesurfen problemlos m\u00f6glich. Die nicht stehtiefe Lagune in der Bucht bietet Sicherheit, aber leider auch etwas Windabdeckung und damit b\u00f6igen Wind. Die Bauten der Werften und der H\u00e4user decken den Wind zwar etwas ab und sorgen f\u00fcr Verwirbelungen, aber an der Landzunge ist er schon wieder sehr konstant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der hohe Mount Sinai im Norden bildet zudem ein nat\u00fcrliches Hindernis f\u00fcr den Wind, der sich an dem Gebirge vorbei zw\u00e4ngen muss und entsprechend verst\u00e4rkt wird. Als einer von sehr wenigen Spots in \u00c4gypten kann man in El Tur auch in der brechenden Welle surfen. Hier ist noch kein Massentourismus zu sehen, sondern der Hafen pr\u00e4gt das Bild mit den Werften und dem Schiffbau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>An windschwachen Tagen empfehlen wir \u00fcbrigens jedem, sich den Sonnenaufgang auf dem Mount Sinai anzuschauen. Allerdings ist der Aufstieg nicht ohne Strapazen zu leisten und hier sollten je nach Fitness zwischen 2 und 4 Stunden eingeplant werden. Also rechtzeitig aufstehen und bis zum St. Catherine&#8217;s Monastery fahren, von wo aus dann der Fu\u00dfmarsch wartet.
